What Was It That Made Our Modern American Culture Go From Zero to 60?
What we take for granted to day would have been unimaginable to your great grandfather. So this begs the obvious question, what was it that allowed our modern american culture to go from zero to 60 in a couple of generations? You know whereby women went from the kitchen to the board room. People of color from the woodshed to the white house. Gay people from the closet to the altar. Well, these were all political movements that have been justly celebrated. But political movements have to begin somewhere and they have to begin with a set of ideas,. some fundamental challenge to the orthodoxy that makes possile the political movement.
