We need to understand these as extreme and fringe movements, but they're also an important part of our national security strategy. The populist far-right from leaders like Viktor Orban in Hungary or Donald Trump are getting legitimized by the political establishment. It's not just about disrupting plots or disrupting particular cells: This is a broader societal issue that we need to tackle with broader understanding.
