The biggest thing probably in 5 is the decorators support, which is really cool to see. Like they're keeping up with their stated goal, which is to be a typed superset of JavaScript. And so as these new features get added to the language, they add them as well. So now that they're there, you can start using them and they'll transpile down if you need to.
