How to Interpret the Old Testament

Bible is much I mean it's lit it's literature in terms of its character driven portraits that are not models for behavior but they're mirrors. As I watch this character struggle sometimes fail and succeed in their journey of following this God who keeps hanging in there with them I learn almost like morals isn't even the right way so you watching guy Abraham get called just because God says I'm gonna give you a gift if you go to this land  and he makes all these really bad decisions that hurt himself and other people.
