The Future of Flex Fuel Vehicles
The government has asked auto companies to bring in flex fuel vehicles or FFTs. These are capable of running on a combination of 100% petrol or 100% ethanol. The introduction of such vehicles will involve some degree of vehicle modification and tuning. From April 2023 all vehicles sold should be E20 material compliant. You can expect the price of cast to increase by up to 25,000 rupees and 2 wheelers for up to 12,000 rupee.
