How to Respond to a Fire

Don't just zoom in on the fire. Know your response area. Look for a big air conditioning unit or something where there's going to be heavy weight because you might have a fire in the basement. Another thing I would tell all my new offices, and even the senior men, treat all people with equal respect. There's nothing like a shit officer. They don't have any respect for you. It tarnishes the badge.
