The Evolution of Uber's Management Structure
When you left Uber, were things a lot more specialized? Did you have a leader overseeing the city teams and somebody over central programs? How did that kind of evolve into those places? Yeah, so the city teams were more of a source for our team. And then the regional part was folks that later on we said, let's have some tailored stuff for a particular region. But yes, in terms of our management structure, we definitely had a setup where we wanted to align as much as possible to how product engineering aligned basically.
