The Importance of Intuition in Pattern Recognition

You feel that puzzle rush is legitimately helping you with pattern recognition. There's one where your brain just immediately sees the mate without having to think at all. And then there's more complex ones where it takes, you actually have to like run through the moves in your head and consider different branches. For example, when you like sack a piece for an attack, and you can't calculate all the lines, that's where that kind of innate pattern recognition comes in handy. That's what we call like feeling the attack or, or you know, they say like in the spirit of the position.
