I Think the UK's Strength Is in Being Able to Attract a Diverse Group of Students
The decline in postgraduate students from the European Union who have been coming to the UK. The last Nigerian student boom fell off a cliff when there was a devaluation of the Nigerian currency or probably I don't know maybe about ten years ago. Chinese students currently make up a quarter of the entire international student body. If I were a vice chancellor given the political tensions with China I mean which may not be especially bad at the moment but it would only take a small change such as Taiwan to for things suddenly to head in a very different direction.
