The Fed is a paper tiger and it will fall just as quickly as the Bank of England when they're confronted with an actual crisis. Chair Powell, I don't care how much he wants to bark about being tough on inflation,. At the end of the day, he will not bite. There are consequences to having interest rates at zero for companies dependent on bond funds.
