The Different Types of Authority in the Bible

For many Christians, it's not so much a give and take as it is more like a top down authority. Frankly, I don't personally don't think it works very well with any genre of the Bible. So even if we are to say that the Bible is God talking to us in some way, God is doing that talking through a lot of different literary forms. That's what I really love about the Bible. It's diversity. There's so much to read.
