The Importance of Knowing Your Rights
There's a very least strong credible allegations that it's not uncommon practice for a border agent to copy the contents of your device and then give it back to you. It doesn't really matter what OS you're on, no matter how advanced it is at this point in time, there's really nothing to protect you from cell phone tracking. I would recommend iPhone over lineage any day because lineage has several known shortcomings but it's just something to be aware of.
