Frankenstein: A Novel
I've got a little bit in the new Frankenstein. He's called Detweiler. It's a bit like Ernest Thesager in the Bride of Frankenstein. I insisted upon Blue Spectacles and a German accent. A lot of the things that made me happy when I was little still make me very happy because they put you in a kind of quiet, happy place. And strangely, having been a completely grotesque, horror-obsessed, morbid child, I'm slightly sick to death of the fact that it's now everywhere. We used to play that as kids, didn't we? Who would win in a fight between Gantok or a grado from all about Michael? LA
