The Unity of Theory and Practice
The unity of theory and practice is something different from that which it is sometimes made out to be. To put it very crudely, this is a drugo nat theory. Ev in any every man wishes his wish. In order to fulfil it, i must understand the direction in which the world is proceeding. If i do not understand this, i may fall foul of it. I must understand reality, in other words, because if i don't understand reality or how to deal with it, it will get me in the end.
