You first joined the New York Times in 1990, and then for a second time in 2006. After a monumental Pulitzer Prize winning career, you then became the executive editor. In 2014, something I imagine felt like the ultimate prize in journalism. It was just the most exciting adrenaline rush that I'd ever experienced. And I also felt like I was doing something big and important too.
