The Destroyance of Archaeology
archaeology is destructive. And we got some really cool stuff out of it but those layers aren't coming back you can't re excavate them in the same way. It creates a lot of frustrations for people like myself because I have to rely on notes and drawings that were made from these early excavations. But unfortunately, they thought well this looks kind of crappy. You know this is just a little fragment a little broken pot shirt. You know let's toss it.
