The History of Render Pest
Over 200 million cattle died of render pests between 1709 and 1769, that's a loss of 20% of all dairy cows in existence continuously over a 60-year period. Ramazini was impressed by its specificity, it only infected even toed undulates like cattle, buffalo, deer, giraffe, etc. Render pest is transmittable through direct and indirect contact with bodily fluids, as well as via aerosol.
