Mayor Chokwe Lemumba: "We will not rest until we see this come to its conclusion" The bill would create a new judicial district with state government appointed judges. Judges would be appointed by the state Supreme Court Chief Justice, prosecutors would beappointed by the state attorney general. If it becomes law, Mayor Lemumba says he'll file an equal protection challenge.
