The remains of 11 Homo antacessor children and adolescents were found in a cave. The bones had been smashed to get to the marrow inside. There was evidence that the victims' brains may also have been eaten. All of these youth and adolescent bones didn't just come from one episode either.

We look into the evidence from primatology and archaeology to find the roots of human cannibalism in nature or nurture.
