The Environmental Impact of the Murchison Falls Oil Project
Oil was discovered in two thousand six, but it's taken a long time to get projects going because of the huge environmental risks involved. Leslie travelled to murchison falls earlier this year to see first hand how this oil project might impact the area. The park is home to hippos and elephants, lions, wort, hogs and uganda cobs - which are like a form of antelope.
