Ike, Bat, What Came Up That Was Surprising?
Ike, bat: When you look at the entirety of what needs to happen, all the features that need to be included, the more you realize that the way it is is kind of the only way it can be. If i'm going to change anything, i need to have a really solid alternative and address all the subsequent cascading effects of that one change. In my experience, in pursuit of metrics, things get bolted on. New features sort of fight for screen real state above the fold. shit just adds up,. because each incremental one is fine, but then you just reach this tipping point where your inner face is cluttered and things have lost cohesion.
