I'm a Man Who Has Been Abused
Connor: I talk about just this notion of I'm a man who has been abused. And then I'm a men or I've been hurt, and I have caused other people pain. Part of my coming into manhood was reconciling with the pain that I experienced as a child. He says he didn't think it was socially acceptable for him to let his anger out unless in small pockets. Connor: "I tried to stuff all of that hurt and that pain and that sadness down because there's a notion within male culture" It led me to infidelity, pornography use, drugs, alcohol, riding my motorcycle at 340 kilometers an hour on the highway - doing very reckless things.
