The Politics of Evacuating People From Sudan
There is going to be some kind of evacuation attempt, but it's been slower than some other reunations. It's a certain embarrassment to the idea that we can't rescue our own people. I think what made the Afghan thing so, you know, so terrible really was the profound sense of betrayal of the people we left behind. But this is more about, youknow, can we scramble a rescue attempt from scratch as well as we might have been able to do 10 years ago.
