The Role of Knowledge in Education
David Deutsch has argued that children are creative as evidenced by the fact that they learn language. A child learns the language that he or she learns from his parents and surroundings. And so some people might say that adults have this capacity, this sort of creative rationality but children don't. But obviously that doesn't make any sense. We are not animals who just do basic, can be trained. We create knowledge in our minds.
