The Growth of Islam in the World Has Influenced Christian and Jewish Interpretation

In the mediaeval period, there were many jews who lived in essentially the middle east and came under islamic rule. They were influenced by islamic philosophy which was preserving and dialoguing with ancient greek thinkers. So they were doing a similar process to what we see with many christian or jewish thinkers at various times in history. And like philo in his ancient setting in alexandria, they were using the same terms and concepts to dialogue with the people around them and to develop their own ideas.
