Is God the Giver of Life?
Bishop: Does god kill all of us, if we keep our tinction from last week in mine? God's active will, god's permissive will. The principle strikes me as right, god the giver of life, that god has the prerogative of taking life away,. It is god's business if he chooses to punish in that way. But still, i'd be more at home with the irinaean sort of education approach. Bishop: Is there something right in this? Yes, i think it provides some illumination as we look at these texts through this lens.
