Atup is a great example, historically, of grass roots activist group that really positively engaged in confrontational politics. They'll be remembered definitely as a more than just a group that did things like the dyans and, you know, helped get the aids quilt going. Toby: People in power end up getting more power by pulling people who are activists into the system. But when they feel there's not being enough done, then t he inther group gets splintered.
