Let the Light Shine Out of Darkness

When we see that baby in the manger at christmas time, as believers in christ, we recognize something more than just a quaint scene. We see god him self intervening in history through sending his son to become like us and bear the penalty for our sin. And when we see that, that's where this verse in versee six starts to become true in our lives. God says, let light shine out of darkness. And it happens as we trust in jesus. Lord, jesus, give us eyes to see how your light is shining out of darkness this christ Christmas season.
