The State of the World Is Bad

The movie is about a scientist creating something that gets out of his control. It's riveting in many ways, especially for Nolan who makes giant kind of Kubrick, weirdnesses and really pushes all kinds of boundaries. I think whatever is going on in the world, the movies tend to remind us of it. There was a time when 9-11 seemed to be the subject of every movie we saw. So contextually, I wouldn't say this is an upbeat movie, but it's riveting"
