The Attorney General's Silence
Attorney General Mark Dreyfus asked why it's important to condemn public displays of right-wing extremism and Nazi symbolism. He reminded Parliament his own family had suffered at the hands of the Nazis in World War II. Mattie even praised John Passuto, the Liberal leader in Victoria. Maurya Deeming is one of his own, and he's been silent and he's done nothing. We all know that bigotry and hatred breed in silence.
