Can One Be a Stoic and Be Racist or Misogynistic?

A few years ago, I was in a stoic group on Facebook and I was rather shocked to see a discussion that was going on where a few of the members were using stoicism to try and justify racism. Epictetus makes it very clear that we are to do good and help all humans, not just those that we like or who are on our side. A life based on narrow self-interest cannot be esteemed by any honorable measurement.
