The idea that you can have two separate processes that somehow get to the exact same number every single exact same physiological processes is so unlikely as to be just impossible. The stimulating rep, I think model came out naturally from that sort of observation. But once you kind of understood the mechanisms, it immediately explained why we're getting very similar degrees of hypertrophy across a wide range spectrum of rep ranges.
