The Only Way I Can Show More Emotion

Human-like cat writes, I'm taking a summer speech class and one of the speeches we had to give was a quote unquote special occasion speech. Throughout the whole semester, he's been telling me I need to show more emotion and more energy because I kind of have a monotone voice. So, the only way I could do that was to pretend that my sister was dead. Do you think that I did was wrong or was it okay because I saved my grade because of it?
