What Are the Miracles of the Eucharist?
The transubstantiation is for an ongoing presence. It's not as if contrary to what Luther, for instance, said later, that the Eucharist presence is just for the time of the Mass. The understanding for the Eucharistic presence is no that so long as the sacramental signs exist, there is an objective, not merely subjective real presence.
