The American Innovation and Choice Act Is a Surgical Strike
The bill would apply to companies that have 50 million monthly active user s or a hundred thousand monthly active business users, if they have sales or a market capitalization exceeding 550 billion dollars. It makes it illegal for tech companies to discriminate in the application or enforcement f their terms of service against the competitor. There's an explicit prohibition against privileging and platforms own products and services. And there's a mandate that platforms be intr operable with one another.
