The rate of metabolism is proportional to the drug concentration, right? Whereas drug concentration changes. But it's always at the same percentage. And then you have life using zero order techniques. This would be ethanol as an example of zero. So what I get from this is a first order drug, if you take more of that drug, more will be excreted or metabolize and so on.
