If you remove the profit motive, then hopefully food will serve its actual purpose of feeding people and keeping them healthy. But that is not what we have now because it's the classical case of corner cutting in order to increase profits. Because the market is oversaturated with so many ways. You've got to make the five burgers in order to win. The stuff that replaces those more like quote unquote artisanal goods is either a highly produced very cheaply, quickly produced, almost like bad limitations compared to what the original is supposed to be.
