The Importance of Black People Owning Guns

LZ Granderson: Is it still important for black people to be able to have access to guns? LZ: I think this should be an issue that unifies us more than anything. He says we're so stonewalled on the issue because we're thinking about well, what about this? What about the ramifications of this? And even in every day, we're having more and more shootings. LZ: Gun control laws are still racist. They still make it disproportionately harder for law abiding black Americans to own firearms.
