How to Cut a Film
I've very rarely worked on anything where it's already been shot. I'll just read the script and maybe make some notes if I need to or I have a phone call conversation. On these bigger effects films, I will be engaged a little earlier than normal because of previous work. And certainly, storyboards get delivered without any sense of timing.
