The Doom Hypothesis That Civilizations Go Extinct

The argument tries to show that at least one of three possibilities obtain. And the third possibility is that we are almost certainly living in a computer simulation literally. The second real live option is that there is this strange convergence among all sufficiently advanced civilizations. They just for whatever reason, virtually all of them completely uninterested in running ancestor simulations. But it has to be a strong convergence. It doesn't suffice if most of them are kind of not very interested. That's a real live option here.
