Is Consumption a Trap?
As a child, what you're wearing is super important. You forget that that becomes like a really big part of how people treat you. My first interest in fashion came from a place of absolute need. I needed to fit in through material items and my mother who grew up within poverty basically was not into it at all. But we need to talk about this stuff in school. Kids need to understand how money works because there's not enough of that conversation from from the go.
