i always thought it was interesting for evaluating color and finishes a you know, i always bring up the iphone seven, whichis when they had, oddly, two black models. They had like, a mat black, and they called one jet black. The jet black is the sort that's impossible to photograph. You can't really capture gloss when you're displaying it on an image.
