How Do You Predict Where Ants Are Found?
Scientists used a species distribution model based on the environments it's known to bein in. The data that scientists have to look at global patterns its all vertebrates. Ants do relatively well in semi arid and arid environments of some of those regions around the world. But other places where, for example, there are many small ranged ants, but not as many small ranged vertebrates.
