The Justices Didn't Have to Take the Clean Power Plan Case

The justices will consider whether the e t a has the authority to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from coal plants in an attempt to really rein in climate change. This is one of those cases where it seems like the justices are reaching out to decide this case when they really don't have to. Another case the court didn't have to take also involves a trump administration rule on the public charge doctrine. The question here is if or not these g o p led states can really pick up where the bide administration left off and defend the legality of this rule.
