A traditional epidemiology had done its course. Really there was not much else you could do. And genetics was the new thing coming. I met up in an oxford bar with a geneticist and and writer, brian sikes,. We suddenly came up there do a twin study. That's really fun. i remembered from my epidemic on trainin how exciting it was... These these twin studies of bress cancer and nuns and anecdoteor stories that we can all relate to. So really fire my imagination. The advantages of working on twins? They are unique natural experiments. You can work whole range of common diseases and traits and personalities about the influence of nature versus nurture.
