The staking products resemble investment contracts. It's not surprising to me that the SEC believes that's the security. Do you think IEX was going to have this on their product roadmap? probably. Probably would have been totally fine if they did it. But if it is with a third party, I kind of understand why the SEC has someone to say about it.
