I like to hear different people's points of views always. I try and be as open as possible because sometimes you can be blinded when you are very aligned with one side. Politician is the noun for the person so politics is the abstract noun okay you can follow politics but the person who does it is a politician. We actually also use it we say they're a bit of a politician when we're describing somebody that's that's not technically a politician but they kind of act that way.
