The Importance of Self-Sufficiency

I think it's part of what attracts us to this interest, hobby, whatever you call it of being out in the wilderness off-roading overlanding. 100% of the time is just my phone on the mount on the windscreen. My first gravel bike race, I had a phone mount on my handlebars because I was not familiar with the road. And then I'll normally have Garmin just running up on the dash.
