The Over Story - A Novelist's Journey
This book is so different in size and form, as we were talking about earlier, from the previous one. And that has a lot to do with just a sense of arrival that i had in coming the over story. In that book, it was a little bit imposed on me through material conditions too. I can't pretend that circumstance didn't have something to do with making it a very different kind of book. But i am aware of feeling different. It's interesting to see the way in which the smokes dominates bewilderment.
