If you can't express yourself in about a paragraph and email, then either you need to figure out how to be more clear or there's something wrong with your request. And the best ones are the ones where they don't write up front say, hey, I love your show. That doesn't do anything for me. Don't try to flatter me. Instead, what you need to do is say, I think I've got a great fit for your show. It's this person, actually skip the credentials first. Tell me what their topic is and what they can bring. List it out maybe a little bit and then link to some of their either social presence or that new book
Don Khouri has spent decades studying productivity as a PhD in human and organizational systems, corporate VP, speaker, and executive coach. In his quest to understand the secrets of the most productive people, he discovered the missing link in current productivity systems: they tell you how to manage projects and to-do lists, but don't show you how to determine what gets put on your plate in the first place.
Don's new book is 'When to say Yes - The 5 Steps to Protect Your Time'. In this episode Don shares ways to protect your time, knowing how to triage requests and knowing when to say yes to incoming opportunities.
